Japanese Gum

watching marie antoinette, waiting for the father of my possible unborn child to get home from work…we may not “be together” but i am happy that he is talking-no-spending time with me after everything that has happened..after everything that my old nature has put him through…despite that, he smiles when he looks at me, he holds my hand…he is still my big spoon. if that isn’t true love i don’t know what is.

i love, love, love this movie. the soundtrack, the dialogue…

in a breath, in a smile, gazes caught across flames on a unseasonably cold night. conversations in a car illuminated by lights on freshly paved streets…there is a moment in every life where we meet our match. where we find that we are not alone, that all long we realize we are half of a soul when we encounter that one person we have been looking for our whole lives. that despite the delusions and the depravity of our human condition, we come to find that it is possible to love. the hours we are asleep, they are next to us silently breathing and dreaming right along with us.

    adieu, cherie, au revoire!
